Introduction:
  • How do we deal with the blues?
  • We have to be honest with ourselves and with God about our emotions so that we can deal with them.
  • Isaiah 1:7, 18-19
  • Seize this opportunity (September 11) to draw closer to Jesus, to follow him in obedience.
  • Big Idea: Repent and turn back to God.
Start with your heart.
  • Isaiah 1:11

  • Living holy is first and foremost a matter of the heart.
Get serious about sin.
  • Isaiah 1:16
  • God wants to forgive your sin.
  • God wants to eradicate your sin.
