Introduction:
  • The word you emphasize when you ask yourself, “How can I be good?” indicates your attitude toward to holiness.
  • Some people may think winning the war on sin is impossible, but it’s not.
  • Romans 6:14
  • Big Idea: God has promised us victory over sin.
Understand the meaning of salvation. .
  • Becoming a Christian is a matter of beginning a new life.
  • Romans 6:4
  • Because of God’s gift of salvation to us, we are, quite literally, dead to sin.

  • Your spiritual standing isn’t based on your feelings; it’s based on the Word of God.
